Approach to Tutoring Calculus

As a passionate tutor with experience teaching calculus at Virginia Tech, I focus on walking through real problems step-by-step while discussing the thought process behind solving them. My goal is to ensure students understand not only how to solve problems but also why the methods work.

A typical lesson begins with identifying specific areas where the student needs support. From there, I explain key concepts, work through example problems together, and provide opportunities for the student to practice while receiving guidance and feedback.
