About Shem
I am a final year MA Economics and Accountancy (Hons) student at the University of Aberdeen, Business School, and am currently writing my economics dissertation.
Before that, I studied at Dartford Grammar School where I achieved a Level 6 at IB Higher Level Economics including a Level 7 on paper 3 (the maximum grade).
I have a reputation for being able to explain complicated concepts in a clear, easy-to-understand format, and also I am very passionate about economics as a subject. This means that I will take my time to ensure that my student gets a holistic understanding that lets them utilize and manipulate economic tools to piece different parts of the story together instead of just memorizing random facts.

My teaching style is based on each student's understanding of each concept so they don't have to worry about being charged by the hour, but rather for example by each chapter of a textbook.
This can allow the student to learn at their own pace and really focus on understanding the key points of a topic and how to apply that knowledge in an assessment or other contexts.

Details
This is not an hourly rate*. You will only be charged once per concept/topic/chapter and then we will agree to allocate a suitable number of sessions for that concept. These can range from 30mins - 2hrs+ so it gives the student way more flexibility and works out way more cheaper as you only pay for what is actually learned.
*The £15 payment covers AT LEAST 1HR's worth of tutoring. My main priority with this is to eliminate the financial burden so that we can learn in peace.
