About Sera
I’ve taught singing for over 7 years, specializing in guiding children and young teens through their first steps on stage. With an Associate of Music in Contemporary Vocal Techniques, I use movement, play, and imagination to make lessons engaging and meaningful. My approach blends storytelling with vocal basics—helping students connect pitch and rhythm with character and emotion. We sing songs from Disney films, musicals, and folk traditions that spark excitement and joy. I love helping students gain confidence through small, safe performances. My classroom is a place where mistakes are part of learning and laughter is part of practice. I focus on healthy singing habits and expressive delivery. Students learn to communicate emotion through tone, phrasing, and gesture. Every voice has something special to say, and I help young singers find that voice. My goal is to make music a lifelong source of joy, self-expression, and courage.

My teaching philosophy combines musicality, storytelling, and self-discovery. I help singers develop their voice while building the confidence to perform their own songs. In lessons, we explore melody design, lyrical movement, and emotional communication. I teach simple accompaniment techniques for piano or guitar, empowering students to perform independently. We also learn how to create vocal demos using accessible recording setups. Every session feels collaborative and creative. I provide prompts and songwriting challenges to help ideas flow naturally. Students develop their vocal style and interpretive strength through consistent practice. I love seeing singers connect more deeply with their music and message. My teaching is supportive, hands-on, and designed to unlock originality. Every voice carries its own story—and I’m here to help you share yours with the world.
