Betina en excelente tejiendo, necesitaba una orientación con las medidas de ropa para bebé, por lo que creamos un patrón para poder realizar una prenda proporcionada, simple y muy sencilla para cuando quiera repetirla. Florencia — La experiencia y las "casualidades" me fueron llevando a descubrir lo que me apasiona y dedicarme de lleno a dar clases y crear objetos.

¿Tenés algún personaje o persona que te inspiró a hacer lo que hacés? ¿Algún modelo a seguir? Contanos el porqué.
Florencia — Hay varias personas que me inspiraron. Tanto seres cercanos como mi papá, como artistas conocidos: Velazquez, Keith Hering, Tarcila Do Amaral, Van Gogh. También diseñadores como Dior, Chanel, Watanabe, Viktor and Rolf, Trosman, Churba, Adot, Bogani, entre muchisimos otros. Creo firmemente que la misión de un diseñador es encontrar(se) con la inspiración como ejercicio cotidiano.

Florencia — Conocimientos y habilidades que sirven tanto a la expresión artística como a la vida laboral. Me gusta que mis clases, a demás de ser divertidas, sean útiles y estéticas. Cada objeto creado dice mucho de nosotros.

¿Una anécdota para contarnos de tus años de estudio o alguna de tus clases?
Florencia — Cuando ingresé en diseño no tenía idea de nada, no sabia dibujar, no sabía coser, no sabía a dónde me iba a llevar esa hermosa carrera. Mis años de estudio me enriquecieron muchísimo pero no solamente en los saberes prácticos, que era lo que más me costaba en un principio, sino que me ayudó a ver mi alrededor con otros ojos. Desde las telas, las terminaciones, hasta los muebles y los edificios. Me cambió la forma de pensar por completo y a entender los objetos desde otro lugar.

¿Qué es lo que te hacé ser un o una profe copad@?
Florencia — Creo que mi intención de darle a cada alumno lo que quiere saber. Armar la clase para que cada uno vaya incorporando el conocimiento que necesita y SOBRE TODO la confianza que le hace falta para no depender siempre del docente. Me siento una herramienta de aprendizaje, no un elemento indispensable para la creación. Trato de que las clases sean muy amenas y generar un vínculo estrecho con mis alumnos, eso enriquece muchísimo las horas de taller y podemos olvidarnos que es un "trabajo" para pasar a tomarlo como una distracción con mucha diversión.

¿Qué hacés en tus ratos libres?
Florencia — Tejo y leo, nunca tanto tiempo como me gustaría pero cuando algo te apasiona, vivís de tu hobbie. Me encanta pintar, cuadros, muebles, macetas, lo que sea.
Amo bailar cualquier ritmo, estudié algunos con los años.
Pero mi hobbie más relajante es tomar mate con mis amigas. Nada mejor que ese momento!
