Lessons are based on a project of the student's choice (preferably a project that is at the student's level of knowledge). All materials will be purchased by the student unless discussed in advance. If preferred we can go shopping for materials together as a first lesson.
I teach based on the student. I believe that every individual learns differently and therefore alter my teaching style based on who I am teaching. Crochet is best taught by demonstration. I'll teach by example, and I'll help you with any difficulties by finding what's blocking you and showing you how to overcome it.
In a typical class, we would learn about the tools required to nit - which are obviously minimal! As well, a discussion of the types and properties of various yarns would be appropriate. We would start with a couple of methods of casting on... practicing until comfortable.

I love to make things. Create, say to my friends "I made that". I'm picky and like things tailored to my body, my needs. I do not like consumerism or produce waste. I avoid disposable things. I Love REUSE. Professionally working with mathematical abstractions and then I feel a need to have a hobby "to make things", to "thinking with my hands.
