About Victor

Hi, I’m Victor Li, a native Mandarin speaker and CTCSOL-certified language instructor with a full decade of online teaching experience. I come from Xi’an, a historic ancient city in Shaanxi, China, and I’ve traveled across many Chinese provinces, which lets me share rich local cultural knowledge in class.
I teach students from all walks of life: young children, high school students, university learners, overseas workers and American adults. I’m patient, supportive and good at adjusting my teaching pace to match different learning abilities.
Outside teaching, I have two main hobbies: listening to symphonic music and traveling around China. I also love reading traditional Chinese literature. I often integrate these interests into our lessons, so you will not only learn the language, but also understand Chinese culture behind every word.

About the lesson

I offer fully personalized online Mandarin lessons for every learner, no matter if you are a total beginner, HSK exam candidate, business professional or a kid learning Chinese for fun.

I can provide a large range of classes, like Mandarin Chinese、Oral Conversational Mandarin、HSK Exam Prep、AP Chinese、Business Chinese、Chinese for kids、Chinese Culture、Travel Chinese、Beginner/Intermediate/Advanced Mandarin.

My classes are relaxed and goal-oriented. I avoid rigid rote memorization and combine real-life scenarios, Chinese culture and interesting stories to make language learning vivid and easy to grasp. Flexible schedule is available to fit your free time. Book a free trial to test my teaching style!
