About Sierra
I’m a college physics major that recently graduated from a nationally ranked high school. I have been tutoring underprivileged high school students in math and English for 3 years. Most of my experience in tutoring is with algebra I and II and precalculus, but I have tutored in AP Calculus I and have taken college calculus.
I also took an AP Calculus exam, so I can help students looking for preparation for an AP Calculus course or the AP exam

My goal is to help students create their own problem solving strategies and learn to work through difficult problems on their own in order to succeed on tests/quizzes, as well as the course itself. Understanding the foundations of math is a critical part of upper level math, so by working through their own homework problems along side them they are able to understand what they don’t know and how to fix that.
