About Alfie
I am an A-Level student at the Harvey Grammar school and am predicted A* in physics and maths. In 2022 I will be studying for a physics masters at Bath university. I have a passion for understanding how our world works and helping those around me to solve problems and address questions they have. Additionally, I study art, and I think that my creativity allows me to understand and explain concepts more effectively. I have also had a growing passion for astronomy and astrophotography since the beginning of 2021.

When explaining concepts or methods to my peers, I think the most effective method is relating everything to basic and easily grasped concepts the individual is already familiar with. I like to delve deep into not just how but most importantly why a result or a method is how it is, building a strong foundation of understanding and the skills required for personal progress in individuals around me. Another trait I think serves me well is the ability to approach different topics and questions from different perspectives, which allows me to tailor explanations to those who may be more mathematically minded, visual learners etc.
