About Surya
I am a medical doctor, a profession that is contingent on lifelong learning. I enjoy teaching students because many of these students will be my future colleagues. Additionally, although I’m teaching students, I often learn a lot from students in the process -and that to me is incredible.

Math and science can be difficult. My teaching philosophy is based on simplifying the complex to make life easier.
I have degrees in biology, biochemistry and cell biology, and a medical degree from university of Queensland. To study as much as I have, I had to find tricks because time is precious and efforts need to be goal-directed.
I focus on ensuring students have solid foundations and then build skills from there. Think about it like a house, if you have a weak foundation, no matter how much you invest in the house, it will always have problems that seem to come out of the blue. But, if you invest in strong foundations, infinite opportunities await, and resale value increases in parallel.
