About
I have always enjoyed mathematics. But more importantly, I understand how challenging it can feel when concepts are not explained clearly. When I first started helping classmates and younger students, I realized how much I enjoy breaking down difficult ideas into simple steps that others can understand. Seeing my students, both formal and informal, go from feeling stuck to becoming confident in their work is what draws me to teaching. As a Math undergraduate at the NUS, I want to use my knowledge and abilities to make learning math less stressful and more approachable, and to help students build both confidence and independence in their studies.

As a current undergraduate at the National University of Singapore majoring in Mathematics, I have a strong academic foundation on top of two years of formal tutoring experience. I am comfortable working with students from Primary School to Junior College, and I adjust my teaching style to match each student’s pace. My goal in classes is to improve grades while also building confidence and independent thinking.
