About Makiah

I have given private lessons for 1.5 years to 3 students consistently. (all children under 13, but willing to teach adults as well). Assisted peers in my classes with learning how to read notes. One of my students has gone on to continue playing piano at a higher level.

I teach beginners, instilling important musical terms, basic introductory to music theory, scales, note reading, proper fingering, playing technique, and pitches. I use Alfred's music books combined with my own worksheets and personal insight.
