About Sam
Hello! My name is Sam and I am a tutor. I have been tutoring for 3 years and I am always looking to foster success in all my students. No matter who you happen to be I put my best efforts forward to making sure you succeed. I am a very strong advocate of the view that teaching and tutoring shapes lives and that is what I’m looking to do. I want to shape your life for the better to enable you to have better chances in life. I am flexible with how I teach as I am not of the view that “one method fits all”. It doesn’t and I make sure to tailor my lessons to that

My approach to tutoring is to first identify the areas that need to be worked on. That would be the first thing I’d go over with students. I’d find the relevant specification and then use it to find our areas of concern. Then I would teach one method on how to do it. If that method is not helpful I try a different one. I tailor my methods based on each student after I have known them and how they work for a bit. A typical lesson with me varies. It could last half an hour or it could last up to one hour depending on how difficult the subject is for the student. As for my experience I have 3 years of tutoring experience up to GCSE level topics for maths and English as well as being able to tutor science with extreme success. I have taught age ranges 4-16 within my years of tutoring so I feel I’m well equipped to deal with most age groups
Recommendations
Recommendations come from relatives, friends and acquaintances of the tutor.
Sam is a friend that i met in the second year of sixth form college. He is one of the friendliest and funniest people I know, and very easy to get along with. I know, if I were in a position where I needed tutoring, that I would want someone like Sam as my tutor.
