About Emily
My name is Emily and I am a current student at Manchester Metropolitan university. I love working with young people and helping to inspire confidence in their abilities. Throughout my own education I had a number of great teachers who showed me the importance of making education fun.

After a brief chat to understand the students exam board and current level, I will run through a number of different questions to establish a baseline understanding of the students skills. Then I will make a personalised plan to work through subjects that need practice whilst also listening to the students feedback in order to ensure we are covering what they need. Before exams we will do a combination of practice exams and blitz questions to ensure the student is confident. Lessons will be a combination of practice questions with explanations when required, adjusting as necessary to ensure the student has fun whilst learning. At the end of each session I will set a small amount of ‘homework’ and let them know what we will be working on the next week so they can get plan ahead.
