About Yunqi

Hey there, I'm June. I'm a Chinese teacher who's totally into languages and cultures! I'm from the northwest of China, the birthplace of the Silk Road. Right now, I'm living and studying in the UK.
I've passed the written exam for teaching Chinese as a foreign language and I'm waiting for the next interview slot. I also have a First - Class B Mandarin certificate, so my Mandarin pronunciation is clear and fluent. By addressing the learning difficulties related to pronunciation through detailed adjustments, with the teaching experience and mediation communication skills in various subject tutoring, one can flexibly adjust the teaching pace in the classroom to suit students with different learning styles. This helps learners with zero or limited Chinese language foundation to break through their learning barriers.

About the lesson

Whether you want to start learning Pinyin from scratch, have simple daily conversations, or pick up practical skills like ordering food, taking a taxi, or shopping at the supermarket, I'll be with you every step of the way! My classes are never boring! We'll chat about Chinese food – like how tasty Lanzhou beef noodles are, play word games, and share interesting life stories in simple Chinese.
