About Loretta
I’m Loretta Gonzalez, a Dallas-area artist and former classroom teacher. I taught for 15 years and have held four solo exhibitions, three of which sold out. My work also includes murals and community art projects. I’ve led painting events and enjoy sharing what I’ve learned with people who want to explore their own creativity. I bring both my teaching experience and my active art practice to every lesson.

I start by asking what you want to create and what experience you already have. Then we paint together, working through color, composition, and technique one step at a time. I demonstrate, give practical feedback, and leave room for your own choices so the finished piece feels like yours. Lessons can be adapted for beginners or people returning to painting. My background as both a working artist and a former classroom teacher helps me explain ideas clearly without making the process feel intimidating.
