About Jaydan
I’ve been cooking since I was about 7. I started off with baking cakes and sweet treats. Once I got older, I began taking more of an interest in cooking. Constantly watching Masterchef or some other cooking show, I found something I loved doing and was good at!
One of my brothers and uncles are both chefs and as much as I love cooking, I personally never wanted cooking to feel like something I HAD to do as I knew I’d end up getting tired of it so it has always remained a hobby of mine which I definitely prefer, especially seeing the crazy hours that they work!
I want to be able to pass on the skills that I have taught myself, along with some that I’ve picked up from watching my grandma and mum cook. It would be extremely rewarding to see the things that I have taught someone being put into practice.

I’m new to tutoring, you’re new to cooking. Let’s learn new things together.
I will take a very relaxed approach with you. I love cooking because I find it fun, rather than like a chore. You should enjoy the process and be excited about what you’re making.
I’ll be honest, I never follow recipes. I have always just created meals from what I have and they usually turn out to be the best ones!
If you have specific meals that you want to learn, I will be able to help you recreate it. Or, if you want to take it right back to basics with things like knife skills, we can do that too. You can lead the way with what you want to learn or improve, and I’ll just be there (virtually) to guide you and eat some good food afterwards!
