I hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering from Central University of Haryana. As a teacher my approach is to start from the basic level and then go on higher level. I think the fundamentals of every topic should be clear to go on high level approach to solve the problems. I consider that if the basics are clear and to the point then the students can solve the difficult problems easily and in an appropriate manner.
