About Annie
I was 14 years old when I met two of my favourite teachers at school. One for Chemistry and one for English. Since then I have always wanted to be a teacher and inspire students the same way they did for me.
My devotion to my pupils goes above and beyond for I dive deep and truly care for my students because their achievements are, in part, mine too.
Teaching anyone and everyone gives me immense joy and I do it with a level seriousness, professionalism and humility. My very first lesson helps me identify the motivation that drives my students which enables me to adjust my teaching style to fit their persona.
Every student is unique, some are fast learners and some are slow, but in the end they do learn, which is the ultimate goal for both of us.

- I have a student-centered learning method with a kinesthetic approach to some activities.
- Average length for a lesson is 90 minutes, usually with a 5 minute break in between. This is to ensure a smooth pace without rushing the syllabus and giving the student time to absorb everything.
- In the past I have tutored privately and in large 20+ classroom settings. For more than 3 years I have taught students English with the use of practical methods and even games to stimulate a proactive approach to learning.
- As a Cambridge certified CELTA Teacher with a GCSE English Literature qualification, I have since taught in USA and IGCSE students.
- My lessons are for all levels, ranging from ages 9 to 17 and 18+, mostly from A2 to C2 and beyond for Literature and Essay writing.
