About Dr Anushree

I’m a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine, Yoga Consultant, and Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, passionate about guiding individuals toward holistic health and well-being. With 6+ years of experience, I’ve trained over 50 students and led countless online and offline yoga sessions, workshops, and personalized wellness programs.

I help people overcome stress, anxiety, insomnia, pain, trauma, and lifestyle-related challenges by combining Yoga, Naturopathy, Clinical Hypnotherapy, Acupuncture, and Ozone Therapy, creating a path to balance in body, mind, and soul.

A graduate of Banaras Hindu University, my mission is to make holistic living accessible and inspiring-turning yoga and natural therapies into daily practices that nurture a sound body, calm mind, and harmonious life.

Yoga session - $20 USD per ONE-ON-ONE session (including conversion fee)

  • Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?

    I teach Naturopathy, Yoga, Meditation, and Clinical Hypnotherapy, which are all deeply connected to holistic health and mind-body balance. My interest began during my undergraduate studies at Banaras Hindu University, where I pursued BNYS (Bachelor of Naturopathy & Yogic Sciences). I was fascinated by how natural therapies, yoga postures, and breathing techniques can not only heal the body but also calm the mind. Over the years, working in hospitals and wellness retreats, I saw firsthand how lifestyle changes, guided exercises, and hypnotherapy sessions can transform people’s health in a sustainable way. This inspired me to share this knowledge and help others integrate these practices into their daily lives.
  • What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?

    My motivation comes from the transformations I witness in my patients and students. Each time someone overcomes stress, pain, or lifestyle-related health issues through my guidance, it reinforces my belief that education in wellness can change lives. I want to empower people not just to treat symptoms but to understand their own body and mind. Teaching gives me a platform to spread awareness about holistic health practices, and seeing students implement and benefit from these practices is deeply rewarding.
  • How does your work help society?

    My work helps society by promoting preventive and natural healthcare, reducing dependency on medicines for lifestyle-related disorders, and addressing mental health challenges like stress, anxiety, and insomnia through yoga and hypnotherapy. By teaching people to listen to their bodies, manage emotions, and adopt healthier lifestyles, I contribute to creating a society that is more conscious, healthier, and resilient. Small changes in individual lives ripple into communities, improving overall well-being
  • If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?

    I don’t follow a single role model, but I am inspired by people who dedicate themselves to helping others improve their health, well-being, and quality of life. I admire those who combine knowledge, compassion, and practical guidance to make a real difference in people’s lives. Their dedication motivates me to keep learning, growing, and sharing what I know with my students and patients.
  • Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.

    Outside teaching, I love walking in nature, traveling, and listening to devotional music. These hobbies help me relax, recharge, and stay connected to the world around me..
  • Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?

    One of my most memorable experiences was when a student came to me struggling with chronic anxiety and sleep issues. At first, she was skeptical about yoga and hypnotherapy. We started small- with simple breathing exercises, gentle yoga, and guided hypnotherapy sessions. Over weeks, she began sleeping better, feeling calmer, and even regaining confidence in her daily life. Months later, she shared that she had recommended these practices to her family and friends. Moments like these remind me why I chose this path-because the impact goes far beyond the classroom or clinic; it transforms lives.
