About Guillermo
I have mentored several students during my undergraduate and doctoral career. I have taught several lectures in physics and given many public talks about science at the University of Texas at San Antonio and several conferences nationwide. I have been an adjunct faculty member at Texas Lutheran University teaching physics lectures and labs. Students like coming to my office hours because I can tailor my teaching methods to their individual needs.

I am very friendly and I want to help students in middle school, high school and those working on their undergraduate degrees. I think learning physics and math should be fun and easy going, thus releasing the stress that comes when solving difficult problems. My main goal is to make students understand what they are learning. When we are working on problems I like to focus how what the problem is asking, what approach to take, why we take that approach and how. This allows students to understand how to solve the problems under any circumstances rather than memorizing methodologies.
