About Victoria
Hi! My name is Victoria and I am 25 years old. I recently graduated with my doctorate in occupational therapy from UTMB. I have a passion for learning and believe that learning should be an enjoyable experience for all ages. I majored in health science and minored in biology when I attended Baylor University for my Bachelors degree and helped lead study groups with my friends that allowed me to realize I have a love for teaching others. It took me a total of 7 years (after graduating high school) to reach my professional goals so I know first hand the importance of hard work while remaining motivated and engaged to avoid burnout. I believe learning should be fun and tailored to best match your strengths and interests!

My lessons are engaging and I offer helpful mnemonics and examples to help my students master hard to remember topics. I take a strength based approach and am comprehensive in my lesson plans based on the student's learning style. I am an occupational therapist and believe this sets me apart by having the skillset to meet a student where they are at to optimize their learning potential. I can teach biology, anatomy and neuroscience related topics of all ages (elementary to college level). I believe in applying active recall in my lesson plans as well for the best results.
