About Alexandra
I am a fun and easy-going person, passionate about Mathematics, and I have lots of hobbies: from reading to making puzzles to running and playing board games. I did my Bachelor's in Mathematics and Physics and my Master's in Pure Mathematics at the University of Manchester. I have been tutoring for 10 years now, and most of my students started loving Maths even if they just needed to pass. I want to inspire and make my students curious about how Maths is everywhere.

If there is no specific urgency, like an exam, I like to start my lessons with an assessment so I know where to start. I follow the exam curriculum and personalise lessons based on the student's level and patience. The homework is given at the end of the lesson and marked before the start of the next one. We discuss the mistakes and review what we did last time for a deeper understanding. My aim for the students is to understand and not to memorise.
