About Joe
Freelance drummer from Northumberland. Joe has a wide range of involvement with various UK bands performing many genres including punk, rock, funk, progressive, metal to pop, samba, Indian, jazz, Afro Cuban and blues music. Presently, Joe has performed at various venues in the North East including Newcastle City Hall, Newcastle O2 Academy, Corbridge Music Festival and local venues with many bands and singer songwriters. He is currently studying Master of Music after graduating from Newcastle University with a degree in Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Music, with a high first in performance. With the drumming knowledge and abilities achieved from his studies, Joe is developing original compositions and drum solos with drive, continuous determination and hard work to become the best drummer version of himself.

Attending various drum clinics in the North East from highly professional drummers including Geoff Hutchinson, Thomas Lang, Jojo Mayer, Will Calhoun. Gaining a vast amount of experience and tuition from highly professional drummers was invaluable. To maintain current and update skills Will Haywood Smith, Gavin Harrison, Steve White, Dave Weckl and Martyn Kaine have all been instrumental in his development after attending their drum workshops. This group of established drummers are just a few inspirational musicians who have provided Joe with skill and knowledge, Joe can now share with others today. Available for lessons in the comfort of your own home or the venue of your choice. If you can't travel to Joe's house, he is unable to make it to yours or you live far away. Joe is available for online drum lessons on Skype or Facetime.
