About Alexander
I’m Alexander, and I’m currently a student at the University of Bath, studying Economics. Before this, I was at Eastbourne College, where I studied Maths, Economics, Politics and Further Maths, receiving A*A*A*A in these subjects respectively. I have always been passionate about maths, and even more passionate about helping you to understand it better and overcome any difficulties you encounter!

My lessons aim to help my students develop an intuitive understanding of maths, understanding what truly is going on, which in turn will build TRUE understanding. I specialise in helping students to prepare for exams, as I know first hand the pressures and stress that they come with, having experienced it first hand not so long ago, so in our lessons we often look at the easier way to do things, which is ultimately what is most important in exams, as it saves time and effort, thus alleviating exam stress.
Each session is carefully planned and targeted to the current needs and level of my students, and based on these changeable factors, I will vary my approach - whether this be working through a past paper, doing work sheets, or going through a concept you’re struggling with. On average, students of mine go up 1.5 grades, showing me that this is the most effective approach!
