If a student cancels their lesson less than 24 hours before the lesson time or is a no-show, payment is still due because I had blocked out that period of time for them in advance. In addition, if I have to travel by car for more than 30 minutes for a lesson, the fee will be increased to $35 /hour as indicated due to petrol costs and time inputted for travel.
I can also tailor an entire lesson plan to the student if the student is not receiving an adequate education at school, or if they have missed a large period of class at the fee of $35 /hour for planning curriculum and research.
My fees include the years of experience I have had in tutoring and teaching large classes as well as the level of education I have received in the subject(s).
In addition to Computer Science, I am also very happy to tutor in all levels of maths up to calculus II as well as biology, chemistry, Mandarin, French, and essay-writing.
