Ryan and I met in band, and he has been tutoring me in math for going onto 3 years now, through AP physics, algebra, precal, and AP calculus! He is more than qualified to teach others and help them learn and understand the math. Ryan always makes time to help despite his own class work, and has successfully taught me in person, over messaging, and on a video call! The best thing about his teaching style is that Ryan never makes you feel inferior for not knowing the answer or how to do the math, which is a feeling many people encounter in the face of math. Instead, he explains the general concept of the problem, and then helps you figure out step by step how to solve the problem until you understand what it going on and can do it yourself. Rather than giving out the answers, Ryan teaches you how to actually do the math, understand the patterns, and apply the concepts to other problems. I cannot recommend anyone more highly as a tutor than Ryan B. He’s taught me so much and will be an excellent addition to your program.
