About Will
I am a third-year Electrical Engineering student who has completed advanced coursework in mathematics, including calculus and upper-level engineering math. Because higher-level math builds on foundational concepts, I have developed a strong mastery of algebra and core math skills. I also have four younger siblings who regularly come to me for help with their math assignments, which has strengthened my patience and ability to explain concepts clearly. Working with different ages and learning styles has helped me break down complex problems into simple, understandable steps and build students’ confidence in their abilities.

As an Electrical Engineering student, I focus on building strong math foundations while helping students truly understand concepts instead of just memorizing steps. I break problems down clearly and teach step-by-step strategies that build confidence and independence. A typical lesson includes reviewing homework, identifying weak areas, and working through guided practice together. I also create custom practice problems to reinforce concepts and help students master the material. I tutor students in elementary math through Algebra and adapt my approach to each student’s learning style. My goal is to make math less stressful and help students feel confident walking into class, tests, and exams.
