About Sam
I bring a combination of hands-on coaching experience and leadership in high-performance training environments.
I’ve led program development across multiple locations and have been consistently responsible for the hiring, onboarding, and development of coaches. This gives me a clear understanding of what separates an average trainer from a highly effective one — and what employers are actually looking for. I’ve also worked in systems influenced by industry leaders, shaping my approach to evidence-based training, movement quality, and coach development. Students can expect structured, professional sessions, clear communication, and practical, real-world coaching insight. My goal is to help students become confident, capable coaches who are prepared to succeed in real training environments.

My teaching approach is based in coaching, not just instructing. I focus on helping students understand the why behind training, not just the how. Visual demonstration & breakdown – using video, screen sharing, and movement analysis to clearly teach technique. Interactive learning – asking questions, using scenario-based coaching, and keeping students actively involved rather than passively watching. Real-time feedback – reviewing student-submitted videos or live demonstrations and providing actionable coaching cues. I also emphasize helping students understand how to coach others, not just perform exercises themselves — which is critical in a remote learning environment.

Note to Prospective Students:
If you’re considering a career in fitness, you’re stepping into one of the most rewarding industries there is. This is a path where you have the opportunity to change lives, not just physically, but by building confidence, resilience, and long-term health in the people you work with. It’s meaningful work, and for the right person, it can be incredibly fulfilling.
That said, I also understand the challenges that come with starting out. It can feel overwhelming. Learning the material, building confidence, finding your voice as a coach, and figuring out how to actually succeed in a competitive industry. I’ve worked with many coaches at the beginning of their careers, and I know what it takes to move from uncertainty to confidence.
My role is to help guide you through that process and simplify what can feel complex, give you real-world insight, and help you develop the skills that actually matter when you step onto the gym floor or begin coaching clients.
If you’re willing to learn, stay consistent, and put in the work, there is a real opportunity here to build a career that is both impactful and sustainable. I’m here to help you do exactly that.
