Delmonica is a colleague and mentor of mine. I work with her at a middle school where we both teach ML/ESL. I have learned so much in my first year as an ML teacher with her guidance. Delmonica will go above and beyond to find the best strategies and lessons to help her students succeed. Building long lasting and solid relationships with students of all backgrounds is also a gift of hers. Working together and bouncing ideas off of one another is a daily task that I look forward to as I feel it makes me a better educator. I always know she is there with to help me out and give me the best advice and strategies to make me the best teacher I can be.

Delmonica taught my daughter in 7th grade ELA.

When my daughter entered 8th grade, Delmonica was no longer her teacher, but continued to actively reach out and support her.
For the last two summers, Delmonica has tutored my daughter, preparing her for the year ahead.

What stands out most about Delmonica’s teaching approach is her ability to meet students where they are academically and socially. She is deeply student-centered and skillfully differentiates instruction to address a wide range of learning needs and abilities. Her classroom practices reflect a strong understanding that every student learns differently, and she works diligently to ensure that all students feel supported, challenged, and empowered to succeed. Delmonica is also highly collaborative, willingly co-teaching with colleagues and fully immersing herself in initiatives that benefit students. In addition, she continuously seeks opportunities to expand her expertise by pursuing professional learning and coursework on her own, ensuring that her knowledge remains current and that her instructional practices are grounded in the latest educational research.
One of the many experiences that highlights Delmonica’s impact involved our collaborative work designing student schedules to best support individual needs. Together, we carefully considered factors such as course placement, teacher selection, academic demands, and additional interventions to create learning environments where students could thrive. Through these efforts, Delmonica consistently advocated for decisions that prioritized student growth and well-being.
Beyond her direct work with students, Delmonica has also served as a mentor to teachers within her department, helping them stay informed about current research-based instructional practices and effective teaching strategies. Her leadership and willingness to share knowledge have strengthened instructional practices across the school and contributed to significant student growth schoolwide. Her influence extends far beyond her own classroom, benefiting both students and educators alike.

Mrs. Delmonica taught my son while he was in middle school. She volunteered
to give him more interventions during the summers. He is now in high school making the AB honor roll. She has a work ethic and love for helping students future teachers need to request her as a mentor. Your student will be in good hands and I know they will succeed.

Delmonica is a dedicated teacher, and thus far, the success of her students has been exemplary. In school, she has proven to be a take-charge person both inside and outside of the classroom. Delmonica has led her Professional Learning Community and helped push the other teachers in internalizing the lessons while still using data to drive instruction. Delmonica's growth scores indicate that she has high growth year after year.

Delmonica is an organized leader and has successfully demonstrated that leadership ability by implementing new ideas quickly based on student data. Her leadership and guidance have been a great help to the students. She has a wonderful rapport with people of all ages, especially the diverse groups of students she has worked with. She is willing to work on any task that is assigned to her. Because the needs of her students vary widely throughout the day, Delmonica has worked to successfully enrich above-grade-level students while successfully designing opportunities to remediate her below-grade-level students.
