About Somi
I am a passionate and patient singing tutor with 10 years of teaching experience, having worked with approximately 150 to 200 students. My aim is to help students of all levels improve their vocal skills and gain confidence in their abilities. I believe in personalised learning and create customised lesson plans that match each student’s voice and goals.
My sessions focus on key areas such as breathing techniques, pitch control, tone development, and vocal clarity. I also incorporate song-based exercises to make learning interactive and enjoyable. I support students in overcoming stage fear, building confidence, and expressing themselves through music. My teaching style is positive, structured, and focused on steady improvement.

My teaching methodology for Singing is based on flexibility, creativity, understanding, and good time management. I believe every student has a unique voice and learning style, so I always adjust my lessons according to their needs and goals. Some students may want to learn basic singing, while others may focus on performance or advanced techniques. I plan each lesson to suit their level and interest.
I use creative methods to make learning enjoyable and effective. This includes vocal exercises, breathing techniques, pitch training, and song practice. I also include fun activities like singing along with tracks, experimenting with different styles, and voice control exercises. This helps students stay motivated and confident.
Understanding each student is very important to me. I listen carefully to their strengths and challenges, and I give clear guidance to help them improve step by step. I also create a comfortable environment where students feel free to express themselves without fear.
Time management is an important part of my teaching. I make sure every class is well-structured, starting with warm-ups, followed by technique practice, and ending with song application. I also help students manage their practice time at home with simple and effective routines.
Apart from Singing, I can also teach related subjects like basic music theory, rhythm, and ear training. This helps students build a strong musical foundation and become better singers overall.
