About Arturo

I’m a Hydraulic Engineer with over four years of experience in the field and a genuine passion for teaching. I’ve been tutoring since my university days simply because I love the art of teaching and helping others understand new concepts and gain confidence in their abilities. My approach is friendly, patient, and goal-oriented. I believe every student learns differently, so I adapt my lessons to fit their pace and learning style. On average, my students see a 35% improvement in their grades after just one term of consistent work together. Beyond engineering and STEM subjects, I also teach Spanish, my native language, and Thai Boxing, which keeps my lessons dynamic and well-balanced. About the lesson

My tutoring approach focuses on building a strong and lasting understanding of STEM subjects. I encourage students to explain concepts in their own words to ensure genuine comprehension and to help identify areas for improvement. This method promotes active learning and boosts confidence in problem solving.

Lessons are conducted face to face in Brisbane or online via Zoom or Google Meet, offering flexible options to suit each student’s needs. Each session runs for 45 minutes, providing an ideal balance between focus and effective learning.

I hold a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering and have over a year of experience as an online tutor in Queensland, supporting students across mathematics, physics, and other technical subjects. My lessons are tailored for Primary and High School students, including HSC preparation, as well as undergraduate learners aiming to strengthen their analytical and technical skills.

In addition to STEM subjects, I also teach Spanish, my native language, offering lessons for beginners to advanced learners who wish to improve their speaking, writing, and comprehension skills.

My goal is to provide a structured, engaging, and supportive learning environment where students gain confidence, master core concepts, and achieve academic excellence.
