About Kayal

I have been teaching kids during my college days. I studied in NIT Trichy and hence were staying in a hostel inside the university campus. This gave me an opportunity to realize my teaching potential and skills. I was mentoring for primary and secondary school students within the campus. My campus location is in a rural area and there were many government schools around. Most of these schools were lacking efficient teachers and hence the environment and the facilities provided were not helpful for those little kids to grow and have enough knowledge to develop any liking or passion. This is where I realized that I should provide these kids at least 30% of what I have got during my school days and give them a fair chance to dream. I mentored them in English, Maths, and Science. Hope to take this experience further and share what I have learned all through this while from helping with the syllabus to career guidance and counseling. I also have enough experience to help kids realize which direction they want to go to during their secondary classes.

About the lesson

I am an engineering graduate who has nearly 2 years of experience in mentoring school students for their exams, projects, and syllabus in general. I adjust and shape my methodology according to the student's caliber and requirement. My main concentration is for the subjects of Maths & Science. So go with the introduction for and from the students, create a comfortable space to understand the kids, and allow the kids to be comfortable with me. Once I understand the requirement, I take a day's time to prepare a syllabus flow for the kid or group of kids. I start the classes from here on with each session being completely interactive.

Details

I am very flexible with my rates but would like to fix a minimum benchmark of Rs 150 /class. The rate will depend on the students' caliber, requirement, number of classes, subjects, and grades. As mentioned above, my first class will be for free and the parents can decide after looking into my first class. I will be very transparent with how I decide my rate(the split-ups) once the free session is done and the parent is willing to hire me.
