About James

Hi, I am James Knorr a current Engineering Student at North Carolina State University. I am studying Textile Engineering currently with a 3.6 GPA with a great passion for numbers. I truly believe that with effort anyone can master mathematics and it is not limited to those that are "gifted". I have found that lecturing rarely works for some and that more interactive and tangible concepts create an easier to understand environment.

About the lesson

I have previous experience working at Kumon where I graded papers for students and tutored ages PreK-5th grade helping them grasp a better understanding of math concepts. I additionally worked at the local YMCA for 3 years where I was a kid zone care attendee watching over children for safety and inclusivity for age ranges 1-12.
Every student comes with a unique learning style in which I am ready to tackle and help engage with the student to accommodate for their best interest. I look forward to working with you!
