About Oskar
I am a trained engineer and an academic in mind who is passionate about teaching mathematics in an easy to understand, inspiring, fundamental and understandable way. I have a university degree in product development and innovation management from Halmstad University, have studied mathematics and philosophy in Lund and am currently studying master's studies in mechanics at Chalmers University of Technology.

In mathematics, it is important to practice seeing connections and general concepts between different sets of problems. As a private tutor, I focus for this reason on observing my students' approaches and thought models and challenge them by asking them questions, rather than in advance lecturing them on the direct answers for the problem at hand. I trust this method because it enables the student to discover for himself what the pedagogical question (perhaps) referred to. The teaching thus becomes more of a journey of discovery for the student, which allows for creation of curiosity and inspiration for continued work.
