I aim to build foundational intuition for mathematics. Therefore, I rarely show students how to solve a problem, but rather prompt them with questions to help them arrive at the answer themselves. I like to have students "teach" me what they know of a subject, to diagnose conceptual misunderstandings and track progress.
My lessons will be most helpful for high school students, but will benefit anyone willing to learn and improve in any level of math, up to introductory Calculus.
I am a second year Engineering Physics student at the University of British Columbia with a passion for math and a desire to share that passion. My classmates in high school and university have appreciated my help with their course material, and claim I offer a new and easy to understand perspective on the content.
