About Ian
Many people believe that they just aren't cut out for certain subjects, I believe that's simply untrue. I believe anyone can learn any subject if taught right. If you understand WHY something works, you can more easily apply it to a multitude of different situations. I find that taking notes works wonders for memory and understanding, I can help you learn to take notes if you struggle with that. I've had some pretty bad teachers in the past and I totally understand the struggle of feeling lost or behind. The reason I tutor is to make sure that no one has to go through school stressing about knowing the subject material. I got an A in high school physics, geometry, algebra 1&2, pre-calc, and calculus, and A's in my college level physics and calculus 1 classes.

My main priority is to listen to you and work with you. I want to hear which subjects you struggle with, how you were taught the subject, then I'll help you further your understanding of each. I'll use practice problems to reinforce your understanding, and practical definitions to make things easier to understand. These lessons are for middle school math to calc 1 and physics 1. (I also know non-calculus based electromagnetism)
