About Kerri

Award-winning, enthusiastic, and engaging English and French educator with several 8 years of teaching experience, tailoring experiences to your child’s specific needs. I offer a complimentary 30-minute consultation with parents/guardians to gain a sense of your child's particular needs, allowing me to plan my lessons accordingly. Passionate about reading and writing since I was five, I enjoy helping students improve their English and French skills through the techniques that work. I often use relevant and kid-friendly educational games to make learning fun and help them better grasp the concepts.

About the lesson

Develop/implement engaging weekly lesson plans, adhering to Georgia Standards of Excellence, accommodating students’ diverse learning styles: visual, auditory, reading/writing, and kinesthetic.
Create station-based activities to cater to students' diverse learning styles and offer all students various approaches to learning lessons.
Research/incorporate relevant cultural activities to provide context to texts that students are reading.
Utilize current videos, music, and child-appropriate learning games to motivate students to engage with and retain what they are learning.
Develop/provide evaluations that are appropriate, equitable, professional, and designed to improve student performance.
French classes: Communicated with students in French 95 percent of the time, starting on day one, per my K-12 training, resulting in high test scores and French communication skills awards for several students.
