About Georgina

I am a Literature Graduate from Oxford. I have always loved reading and writing but developed a sort of obsession with it during my A-levels, mainly due to the fact that I finally had teachers that made it interesting for me. Now I write novels and articles and essays as a job. The main thing that made me finally have that passion for literature was the understanding that fiction is always a reflection of the interior life that we all experience. Even if you dislike a text, you can find a way to analyse it and critique it that will give you a greater understanding of the author's mind and your own. The more I study texts, the more I fall in love with them and I want to help students develop this same understanding. Critical thinking is the key takeaway skill from Literature as an academic subject and an essential skill for understanding people and navigating the world with conviction and discernment.
