About Ayhan

Hello, I'm Ayhan. I graduated from the Cyprus International University English Language Teaching Department with a full scholarship and honors. During my undergraduate studies, I gained experience in private tutoring, and after graduation, I worked as an English language teacher at a private college. I am currently pursuing a master's degree with thesis in English Linguistics. I also hold training certificates in speech and language disorders, educational coaching, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.

About the lesson

I plan my lessons according to the student's age, current English level, learning needs, and goals. My aim is not just for the student to memorize grammar rules or vocabulary, but to be able to use English meaningfully and functionally. In my lessons, I encourage English communication and active participation as much as possible; and I emphasize the development of the four basic language skills – listening, speaking, reading, and writing – together, according to the student's level. For students preparing for exams, unlike the general English approach, I apply a more strategic and goal-oriented study program tailored to the exam structure, the student's weaknesses, and the target score. I also offer shadow tutoring services to primary and secondary school students to support them with their homework, improve their study habits, and guide them in their academic journey. The support I offer in my lessons includes: - English at primary, middle, and high school levels - English focused on speaking and communication - General English - English preparation for exams such as YDS, YDT, LGS, etc. - Development of reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills - Homework support and academic guidance - Shadow tutoring - Personalized lesson plans tailored to the student's level and goals. My aim is not only to teach English; it is to make the student's English learning process more efficient, understandable, and sustainable.
