About Sidrah
I have been privately tutoring three years now I mainly focus on English language, literature and mathematics. I am flexible with timings and days and will be teaching online along whilst continuing with my Optometry degree. I decided to do online tuition because teaching young students and pushing them to their full potential is something I really enjoy just as much as I do optometry, therefore this solution meant I could help younger children progress further on in their education.

I will be focused on teaching English Literature and English Language, for students from year 3 up until year 9. I will also be teaching year 2 up till year 8 Mathematics. My lessons are typically an hour unless the student is wanting to learn both subjects, I'd then recommend 2 hours. What I focus on to begin with is teaching style, each child has a different way of learning. I've been doing private tuition for 3 years now. After finding the most suitable, efficient and fun way of teaching for the individual, I focus on exam techniques whilst teaching the content, help boost their confidence. Within the first lesson we find the areas the student is struggling with more and needs more focus on and we will begin with those areas. Alongside content we will also work on time management during exams.
