About Isabel
I am a student currently studying English Literature and Psychology at UCSC. I have a passion for writing and reading stories. I managed to score a 35 (out of 36, remind you) on the English portion of the ACT, but truthfully I can only say that I scored so well because a certain high school teacher inspired me to master the mysterious grammatical rules of the English language. I hope to be that inspiration, and provide you with the key to unlocking Academic English.

I give lessons to high school students. I approach each lesson first learning a bit about the student-- their experiences and passions provide an insight to me as to how they view the world, which is vital when it comes to the interpretation of literature or writing essays. Once I know a bit about the student, I can then facilitate them in interpreting and approaching the world (reading and writing).
