About Luciana

I am an English teacher with international experience, teaching students from different backgrounds and cultures. I learned English in Brazil, where I also began teaching, and after moving to the United States, I continued working with non-native speakers, especially foreigners living in the U.S.
Living and working closely with immigrants and international students allowed me to see firsthand how language barriers make even simple daily tasks challenging in a country where English is the primary language. I also saw how these difficulties often prevent people from reaching their true personal and professional potential.
Because of this, I decided to focus my work on helping non-native speakers learn English more efficiently and with clear direction, so they can communicate, integrate, and move forward with confidence.
I specialize in working with beginner and intermediate students who feel stuck or insecure when speaking English. My classes are one-on-one, which allows me to adapt each lesson to the student’s goals, interests, and real-life needs.
I believe that learning English should be practical, supportive, and motivating. When students feel understood and see clear progress, they gain confidence not only in the language, but also in themselves.

About the lesson

After closely analyzing the main difficulties non-native speakers face when learning English, especially the challenge of speaking confidently, not just reading and writing, I developed Inglês sem Stress (“Stress-Free English”).
This method was created to help students speak English naturally, correctly, and with confidence, without feeling overwhelmed or blocked.
Inglês sem Stress focuses on task-based learning that trains the brain to automate grammatical structures. Instead of memorizing rules or focusing only on conversation, students practice targeted tasks that allow correct structures to be produced naturally and automatically — without constant translation or overthinking.
Many learners struggle because:

They understand grammar but can’t speak fluently, or

They can communicate, but feel insecure because they don’t know if they are speaking correctly

This method bridges that gap by combining clear structural understanding with guided, repetitive practice, so speaking becomes natural rather than forced.

Inglês sem Stress has shown excellent results with beginner and intermediate students, improving fluency, accuracy, and confidence.
Lessons are one-on-one and fully personalized. Class topics are chosen based on the student’s interests, goals, and real-life needs — such as work, daily life in the U.S., and practical conversations — keeping learning engaging and motivating.
