About Joshua
Hi there! My name is Josh and for the last 6 years I have been an English and Economics teacher helping students pass their exams and have helped dozens of students get into some of the top universities in the world.
I specialise in teaching English as second language and have experience teaching IELTS to students looking to go to universities in English speaking countries.
I have hundreds of high quality learning aids including ppt's, videos, audio clips, official textbooks, and songs. I enjoy customising my lessons to match the individual needs of my students in order to get the most out of them during our lesson time.
I consider myself a pretty laid back teacher and I prefer to give my students the tools and skills to solve problems rather than simply giving them the answer.

Hi! My name is Josh.
I have an adaptive approach to teaching where I can tailor my lessons to match the individual needs of my students.
I have 6 years experience teaching English as a second language across all ages and abilities and 4 years experience teaching Economics at a high school level.
I also have experience with the IELTS program and have helped dozens of students pass their exam to get into some of the best universities in the English speaking world.
I have a TEFL qualification which has allowed me to become a qualified teacher of English as a foreign language abroad.
My lessons are either 40 minutes for younger students or an hour for older students (the length can be adjusted to the needs of the student) and include high quality visual aids to reinforce the content being taught. I have different levels for each subject so I can adjust the content for any age group or ability of the student.
As a teacher, I am more laid back than strict and I try to let the student figure out the answer to a question by giving them the tools to independently solve any problems they might come across when exploring the subject.
