I'm Liudmila, an English tutor and accent coach based in Ipswich, Suffolk, teaching online and in person. I hold a Master's in Linguistics and trained in Phonetics under world-renowned specialists — giving me a depth of expertise that very few English tutors can match. About the lesson

Every lesson is tailored to you — your accent, your goals, and your schedule. I draw on trusted Cambridge resources (Ship or Sheep) alongside my own phonetics expertise to build a clear, structured path to sounding natural in English.
We work on the sounds that actually cause miscommunication — through minimal pairs, careful listening, imitation, and repetition. You'll hear the difference, feel the difference, and gradually it becomes automatic.
A typical lesson includes:

Targeted pronunciation work — I explain exactly how difficult sounds are formed, not just how they sound
Intonation and rhythm — because native speakers notice these as much as individual sounds
Recording yourself — one of the most powerful tools for hearing your own progress
Confidence building — speaking in front of others is as much psychological as technical

I've been teaching online via Zoom since 2021, and the results are identical to in-person — my students will tell you so themselves. Many came to me with reservations about learning pronunciation remotely. Every one of them changed their mind.
