About Josiah
I am a geography and environmental maths student which involves four advanced maths modules over the course of the degree. I have studied maths and further maths at both GCSE's and A-levels, this meant I was in a position where I was able to help fellow students who were encountering topics for the first time that I had already done in further maths. I also have a younger sibling who is going down the same subject path and is set to obtain outstanding grades, while he is a natural mathematician I have been able to explain topics in a different way many times to aid his understanding and revision.

My lessons are best suited for anyone of any ability taking maths or further maths at GCSE or A-level standard. With my lessons I will try and focus mainly on what the student feels they struggle with the most although I would try and leave time for general revision across the syllabus (to encourage method memorising.) My approach to answering maths questions has always been very methodical and focuses on following steps, rather than jumping ahead to reach answers quickly. Not only does this reduce the chances of mistakes but also makes my working much easier to follow and learn from.
