About Luma
I've been teaching ESL students for 20 years K-12. Highly understanding of cultural difference as students could be from a range of backgrounds. I am able to reach a high level of proficiency in English in a short amount of time. I am the main bridge between the students, parents, and school for any information that may be needed. I have the ability to wear many different hats in my teaching profession, especially when teaching adults. I have about 5-25 students in my classroom which make me very patience, sensitivity and a clear grasp of the fact that making mistakes is the only way to improve, for the teacher as well as the student.

I am very flexible, trusty, easy going and patient teacher. I use differentiate methods starting from 1st level to move on to higher level depending on the students' learning needs. Some of my method are to use activity style, blended style and the most important how to engage my students in the learning process. I have different styles that I always address the needs of diverse students at different learning levels.
