About Melissa

Who said you’re not a genius? Who said failing, making mistakes or not being able to do something “perfectly” doesn’t make you a genius? The truth is, there’s a genius in all of us and whoever says otherwise is wrong! In order to bring out the genius hidden inside, you must trust yourself, try new things, and make mistakes. Do something challenging or something that scares you every day. You won’t know until you try and you’ll be amazed at all the wonderful things that you can do. You can do it! I believe in you.

I have over 10 years of experience teaching kids and adults ESL, English, Science, Geography, History, Montessori, and art.

I have TESOL, yoga, and meditation certificates. I am very passionate about teaching and I believe learning should be fun and engaging. Children and even most adults learn best through experiences, movement, and hands-on activities.

Kids will not be sitting in their chairs for 30 mins straight in my class! That’s not what learning is about. Learning is about getting dirty, jumping, laughing, playing games, etc. so get ready to get up and start moving :)

You will never learn if you’re not having fun. Don’t be afraid of adding a bit of fun and silliness to your life. Be yourself! It’s a very important part of development! Let’s remove “weird” from our vocabulary and replace it with amazing, unique, different, and fun…

In my free time, I love to create art projects, do yoga, and play fun games indoors and outdoors. We love to travel, experience new things every day, and learn about new cultures. Uplifting others and helping them grow are my greatest passions.

About the lesson

Welcome to the best ESL lessons you will ever find! My lessons are filled with planned interesting topics, homework, discussions, age-appropriate games, and more! We will practice speaking, writing, listening, and reading and improve your English fluency.

These lessons are perfect for beginners and pre-intermediate/intermediate level students. Whether you are planning a solo vacation, a trip with your friends, or finding it difficult to talk with strangers, co-workers, or friends, and writing letters or emails, etc., there's no need to worry because, in this class, you will learn how to do all that. You will also learn how to speak and ask questions confidently in different situations, and even make plans and give advice.

You will receive fun homework and games at the end of each lesson.

We will go on adventures and focus on speaking, writing, reading, listening, pronunciation, grammar, and conversations in each lesson.
