About Shivanee
I’m a Master’s graduate from IIT Bombay, currently working as a digital product designer in a leading MNC. I was a scholarship student in fine arts by CCRT (Government of India). Over the years, I’ve gained extensive experience in various design disciplines, which has shaped my understanding of how design impacts the world around us. My journey in the field has been driven by a passion for creativity and innovation, and now, I want to share that passion with others. Teaching allows me to give back to the community by nurturing the next generation of designers. I believe that knowledge should be shared, not just for the sake of education, but to inspire and empower others to achieve their full potential. By sharing what I’ve learned, I hope to help students bridge the gap between theory and practice, equipping them with the skills and mindset needed to excel in their careers. It’s not just about teaching design; it’s about fostering a culture of curiosity, creativity, and continuous learning.

In this class, my teaching approach will differ from traditional methods, emphasizing a blend of practical experience and theoretical knowledge tailored to the diverse fields we’ll be exploring. With a Master’s degree from IIT Bombay and my current role as a digital product designer in a leading MNC, I bring industry insights that will help bridge the gap between academic concepts and real-world applications. We’ll delve into various design disciplines, including art and design, product design, interaction design, transportation design, and human figure drawing. Additionally, we'll cover essential topics for NATA, UCEED, and CEED exams. My goal is to foster a hands-on, interactive learning environment where you can explore creativity, innovation, and technical skills, preparing you for both academic success and professional growth. Expect a dynamic classroom where traditional lectures are complemented by project-based learning, design critiques, and collaborative workshops. This will help you build a strong foundation and encourage you to think critically and design with purpose.
