About 咖啡豆

My name is Too Hou Win, and I am passionate about the Chinese language and effective communication. I have several years of experience in Chinese debate, as well as experience coaching and mentoring students in debate-related skills.
Through debate, I developed strong abilities in speaking, writing, critical thinking, and language expression. More importantly, I discovered that I enjoy helping others learn and improve. Seeing students gain confidence, overcome challenges, and achieve their goals is incredibly rewarding to me.
I want to teach because I believe language is more than just a school subject—it is a tool that helps people express their ideas, connect with others, and succeed in many aspects of life. By sharing the skills and knowledge I have gained through debate and mentorship, I hope to help students strengthen their Chinese language abilities while building confidence in their communication skills.
As a tutor, I strive to create a positive, patient, and encouraging learning environment where every student feels comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades but also to inspire them to enjoy learning and become more confident users of the Chinese language.

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring Chinese focuses on building confidence, communication skills, and critical thinking rather than relying solely on memorization.

As an experienced Chinese debater and debate coach, I have guided students in improving their speaking, writing, and language expression skills. Through debate training, I learned how to help students organize their thoughts clearly, expand their vocabulary, construct strong arguments, and communicate effectively. These are essential skills for mastering the Chinese language.

For primary school students, I aim to create an engaging and supportive learning environment where they can develop a strong foundation in reading, writing, speaking, and listening.

I believe every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching methods according to each student's needs, strengths, and learning pace. My goal is not only to help students achieve better academic results but also to develop a genuine appreciation and confidence in using the Chinese language.
