About Soumita

Hello, I’m Soumita Chakraborty, a fourth-year B.A. LL.B. student with a strong passion for communication and teaching. My academic background in law has helped me develop clarity in language, analytical thinking, and effective expression, which I bring into my English classes. I follow a student-friendly and interactive teaching approach focused on building confidence, improving fluency, and ensuring practical understanding of the language. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students can develop strong communication skills for academics, daily life, and professional growth.

About the lesson

My Teaching Techniques and Methods

I follow an interactive and student-centered approach to teaching English. My methods focus on practical learning rather than rote memorization. I use:

Real-life conversations and examples
Vocabulary-building exercises
Grammar through application, not just theory
Speaking and listening activities for fluency development
Personalized feedback to improve each student’s weaknesses

The aim is to make students confident speakers and effective communicators.

The Usual Structure of a Class

Each class is carefully structured to ensure balanced learning:

Warm-up session (basic conversation or revision)
Concept learning (grammar, vocabulary, or pronunciation)
Practice session (speaking, writing, or exercises)
Interactive activities (role play, discussions, etc.)
Doubt clearing and feedback

This structure ensures steady improvement in all aspects of English.

My Special Features as a Teacher
Friendly and supportive teaching style
Focus on building confidence, not just marks
One-on-one attention (even in group classes)
Customized lessons based on student level
Regular progress tracking
Practical English for real-life use (interviews, presentations, daily communication)

These classes are designed for:

School students (basic to advanced English)
College students (academic and spoken English)
Adults (spoken English, workplace communication, personality development)
Beginners who want to start from scratch
Anyone who wants to improve fluency and confidence
